IASIMUN Organizers Speak to Local Press

On October 6th at 10:30, four members of the IASIMUN Secretariat spoke with a group of local journalists at the festivities hall of CN Emil Racovita.

The school director of CNER welcomed press members to the event and took question from the group of 15 journalists. The speakers included Madalina Secareanu (Secretary General), Stefana Covalciuc (Deputy Secretary General), Radu Valeanu (Delegate Training Officer), and David Pi (MUN Advisor). The team spoke about the history and general benefits of model United Nations, details about the conference, and the impact it will have on the community and participants. David Pi spoke about the upcoming training for delegates and the initiative of CNER students in conceiving the IASIMUN project. “An important point is that I introduced the idea of MUN to my students but they are the ones who first suggested hosting a conference in Iasi,” said Mr. Pi.
